The 52 DC is over and I did not meet all my goals, I am actually quite disappointed and I am going to take everything up a notch during the next challenge.  For whatever reason my weight was up to 195.8 on Tuesday but I went hard for the last couple of days and it is back down to 190.8.

I have gotten away from the NROL workouts as I am concentrating on the Urbanthlon training plan.  I am sore already from this mornings workout, which is good because I have not been sore that much lately and it didn’t matter how hard I pushed the NROL workouts I think my body had adapted to the Fat Loss routines, and I am not ready to start hypertrophy yet. 

It is crazy to think that the actual race is only 12 weeks away, it seems like my whole family is planning on coming to chicago for the weekend (mom dad and all my brothers) which means my wife will be staying home.  I am actually quite disappointed by this as I was hoping to explore a new city with her and enjoy some time alone without the kids.  All in all the actual race should only take me 2 hours or so.

    You had a great challenge – you underestimate your own achievements.

    You do not have to go through NROL in lock step order. You can mix it up bouncing between the different workouts.

    I think you will enjoy Hypertrophy a lot more than Fat Loss and get more benefit from it. With your training for the race, I would switch off Fat Loss and move on.
